i have been watching    stephens   funeral-- people  paying respect to  stephen    and the thumbs ups    and the yellow    ribbons   ---- stephen  RIP   thanks  :thankyou: jude   for  links

Oh I am such a softie. Cant watch this with dry eyes. What a lovely thought his family asked for a one act of kindness , so in line to what Stephen stood for.  :thumbsup:

i would just like to say what courage this young lad had to fight such a battle i hope that others will be inspired to his courage in the face of such a terrible thing, luckly i havent had cancer but i also know what it is like to fight as i have astma quite bad sometimes being in hospital not so much now with treatments, i do everyhing i can to lead a normal life i cant imagaine how much courage it takes when you get told that you have only a year or so to live i am so pleased for his family and i hope that his legecy lives on in others facing the same, claire

I understood that his symptoms were ignored for too long, but never understood why.

 such a  shame  that  stephens  symptoms  ignored   ---- for  sooo  long -- the   same   thing   happened    with  my  hubby   peter  who  had    a  brain tumour    by  the time they   found   it  he  had only weeks  to  live

 :thankyou:  tacom / kanga  -- it was   day  after boxing  day   2001  that  he  died --  hayley  and  kelly  were     only  13  years  old   --  that made it  worse    really   at  XMAS time
