Another observation on the dress front is that if another male pop artist had been performing, would they have been in a suit or would they have been in normal performing clothes?
Do you not, as a guest, want to create an image of a polished and successful artist?
Do you not need to do your research as to the kind of event your performing at?
Would you expect, at an up market event like this evidently was, dress in jeans and the jacket from a suit and think that will do?
And would you also say that this event equates with when he is performing on, say Worthing pier or at Gravesend theatre ? ..
As the saying goes "It's Horses For Courses" and where as I can agree that a suit perhaps wasn't necessary, the image that Joe needed to strike with this event definitely needed a smarter more co-ordinated outfit one that what he came up with. .... IMO that is.
I think back to the Albert Hall both times and The Hilton .. And even his Christmas show at Whitley Bay where he looked stunning. So he can and does do it!
