I'm not sure what Jenni means by dodgy Fb page. Colin Fry who is with Celeb Agents appears there regularly I understand.

Just hasn't been mentioned by Joe or CelebAgents yet and it's the type of event that I would have thought would get an "announcement".

A lot of fans bought Blackpool tickets before the 10am confirmation last Friday based on the info being on the Opera House site.

I can't deny it's a strange one even for Joe but not being on FB, I  don't understand specifically what constitutes a "dodgy" FB page ?

Blackpool Opera House is a known venue though.
I'm not sure that the FB page is necessarily "dodgy" though it is a bit amateurish. Given that people were stung in the past by that Benidorm incident, I guess they are right to be wary.

Yes I see what you mean but Benidorm wasn't actually selling tickets were they? In any event, a venue in Tealby with a landline contact is very much in the jurisdiction of UK police and trading standards  :)

Benidorm was selling tickets but the person who bought tickets on the basis of Joe being there did get their money back so it ended up OK. There was also another incident in the UK where an organisation (charity) said Joe was appearing and then it turned out he wasn't. But you are right, there is a degree of protection here. Just be careful of the small print (right to substitute with another artist etc. etc.). Hopefully it will be confirmed by Joe/management very soon.

Perhaps dodgy was the wrong word to use but this sort of event is usually announced by Joe's management and we are given a date and time when we can phone for tickets which are usually sold by them.

Maybe the venue's leaked it out before management intended.

Thanks Mihi for my amazing new signature.

Has anyone confirmed this is genuine?

If no one has done it I could DM celebagents on twitter.

I think it was on their facebook for a few days and then a local girl tweeted about it and so word spread. I don't think it's a "Joe dinner" like Indochine or Little Haven.

Do you know if anyone has checked with celebagents?

It says buffet is included with the price and you get to meet Joe so how is that different to a Joe dinner?

The Joe Dinners were celeb agents organised events- you rang them and paid them direct.

This is not.

Thanks for explaining!

Celebagents will still know about it.  I am reluctant to DM them if we know that someone has done it already.
