I think DWMF would be my No1 , I think Joe sings it better then the original and puts the right emotion into it. So I voted off TWYA  :D

All my favourites have gone  :tissue:
Even DWMF is only about no.5 on my list :(
But TWYA has to go for reasons stated before.

Solitaire could go on ten times as long and I still would be wallowing in it with tears streaming down my face :)

2nd: To Where You Are (12/20 60%)

Beautiful, emotional song. It's got a powerful message for those who have lost a loved one. Joe has such a strong and powerful voice and he shined on this song. He captured the emotional aspect of the lyrics beautifully. I just love the way he sings it.

And the winner is..............

1st: Dance With My Father (8/20 40%)

Dance With My Father was written by Luther Vandross and Richard Marx and released in 2003 on Vandross's album of the same name. Vandross wrote the song based on his personal experience. It showed an absolute beautiful sense of loss, losing his dad very early on in life, but loving the memory of his father with him. The song is definitely a beautiful and soulful song that remains a gem to listen too.

Even though I think that the live version of the song was better, the studio one is good anyway, and Joe as always perfectly expresses the real meaning of the song.

Results:

1st: Dance With My Father (8/20 40%)
2nd: To Where You Are (12/20 60%)
3rd: Solitaire (8/21 38.1%)
4th: Over The Rainbow (12/19 63.2%)
5th: Nessun Dorma (6/15 40%)
6th: Canto Della Terra (5/16 31.3%)
7th: Time To Say Goodbye(Con Te Partiro) (6/16 37.5%)
8th: Il Mio Cuore Va (My Heart Will Go On) (7/16 43.8%)
9th: She Was Beautiful (8/16 - 50%)
10th: I Dreamed a Dream (8/22 36.4%)
11th: Va Pensiero (9/19 - 47.4%)
12th: Hear My Prayer
