Some seeded shuttlers suffered early round exit yesterday, Jindapon (14th), Wei Feng (16th), Blair/Bankier (12th), Kido/Bernadeth (8th), Hayakawa/Matsutomo (13th).

Enjoyed Ueda vs Tian HW game. Very entertaining!

Day 3 (27/8/14) - Preliminary Round

What a surprise! Seeded 1 WD from China, Bao Yixin/Tang Jinhua lost to Anggia/Della from Indonesia in straight game.

Amazing to watch KKK play and win after not playing for so long!  :ten:

Day 4 (28/8/14) - Round of 16

A lot of interesting matches today. Don't think KKK/TBH can beat Taipei's pair.

Was quietly pleased to see our top English pair lose their mens doubles match. Really don't like the way they play

Will try and catch that ladies doubles match somewhere.

Goodbye Koo KK/Tan BH. As I expected, they lost to Chinese Taipei. It was their last stint. :glum: Good luck to both of them!

Welcome to the badminton show!!

Man, what a rally!

That swag during a match ....  :snigger:

 :haha:

Some great matches on the highlights show this morning. Didn't manage to catch the Adcocks being surprisingly knocked out though. Wonder what happened.

Enjoyed the mens doubles semi-final this morning - Boe/Mogensen against Lee/Yoo (I think  :haha: ). Was a great tactical match-up.

Will catch the singles later. Dead impressed that Carolina won.

In the battle of Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton is in pole position at Monza, ahead of Rosberg :)

Only watched the highlights but Formula E seems like F1 in slow motion.

Glad Heidfeld was ok though, that was a horrendous crash. A truly silly last corner move by Nico Prost.
