it's not easy to understand, but we'll manage eventually. A bit like with Mayday. it took us weeks.  :-)

Bridge:
I wish I knew from the start
you were treading love from my heart
I'm trying, I'm trying
But I'm dying inside
You stripped and tore me apart
And now I'm left with the scars
I'm burning, I'm running, inside

(I think)

I hope there's lyrics in the booklet, especially with all these originals. Hopefully lots.

Will try to make out more when I am home

I like the song, was hoping for him to sing it at Bournemouth , so decided to wait for that and Im glad I did. It gave something extra to hear it live and LIVE for the first time.

Hope the final production ofte song when recorded will give the song a rocky touch to it,
Bournemouth's version was more rock then first version, and that suits the song... In my humble opinion of course haha

Realistically though, I think Decca are going to destroy it. :(

I have put the lyrics on the first post straight after the videos. We can amend them there when needed  :D

realistically? yes.
unless Joe puts his foot down and says: you're not having it then! In which case, we'll have to wait a little longer to have the rocky tune. I'm ready to wait!  :-)

Don't think that's the way that record labels work. Bottom line is (a) what do they think is most profitable (b) how much they want to keep their artist.

they could add a bit more drums, a bit more bass, a bit more electric guitar...  :D Perfect! but keep the little keyboard notes at the beginning and the end. I like those notes  :-)
no violins needed. No violins wanted!

 :-)  :haha:

well that is  probably how it all works ------ but -- the  song is joes ---- so  it is up to him  wether he lets it get decarised  or not -- is  what i mean ----- a song is  wriitten  as a ballad/ an uptempo  song tho --- its  not like it is  a classical  song  that needs the violins  really is it ?????

I think it's probably up to Decca how much they listen to what he wants. And how much he fights for what he wants - how much he is prepared to risk even.
My feeling is that Decca wanted him as a classical crossover artist really.
